Hi everyone!
It’s been a short week, as on Wednesday we didn’t have school. Since our terrain designer was missing, our team worked on Easter eggs last week. As my team's writer, I made the general outline for the Easter eggs, and helped gather information about them. I also made one of the 3D outlines for one of them. Well that’s all I did this week, and I apologize for the short post.

Hi everyone.
It’s been a slow week. I was continuing to work on the maps of the sections. I had trouble going in depth because campsites are free spirited, and I had to make it look scattered enough for it to look like people were just camping wherever they wanted (in the space) instead of having it in neat rows. The artists didn’t really need my help with the storyboarding, but I did look over some. Well, that’s all for this week. Sorry for the short post this week, and see y’all next. Hey everyone.
I had multiple tasks to do this week. I was helping out both the 2D department and assisting the person doing scene design. I was asked to go into depth with the map, so I had to go into detail about the certain places, etc. For my help with the 2D department (who is doing the flashback portion of our game), I was doing a flashback storyboard. Along with that, I had to establish who was doing what and go into depth (when asked). To close out my week, I made the team post by quickly interviewing everyone on their progress. Well, that's all for this week, and I will see you next week. Hey everyone, I'm back with my first game post as the team writer.
This week was a slow one. I got tasked with creating the map layout, which is shown below. After making the sketch, I verified it with our team lead and the scene designer. I also talked to them about items we need to add to make the campsite feel more like a campsite. After that, I began working on the flashback storyboards with the writers. I had some parts I had to specify for them (i.e. going more in-depth), but it seems like they’re doing fine. As a backup 2D artist, I will also be making some of the flashback sequences. Well that’s all for this week, and see y’all next week. |
