As this year is coming to an end, it is time for me to review what I've learned in Unity. To be fair, Unity and I weren't the best of friends this year. It put up many difficulties, such as the game engine itself not allowing me to change the code class. But after many Google searches and YouTube video watching, I was able to 1.) learn about C# and 2.) learn to restrain myself after nearly punching my computer. I won't lie, C# is really confusing to learn.
Even after watching how to code, I was still really confused. Even now, more thanks to my stubborn Unity, I'm still learning how to code. Thanks to a very close friend of mine in the class, I was able to learn about program collisions and animation. But considering improvement, I still feel very inexperienced. C# still confuses the living daylights out of me, and it's probably going to take me the entire summer to get used to it.

Good morning everyone! Today I will be reviewing a visual novel, "missed messages." It is free on Steam, and the reviews say it's a pretty good game. From my knowledge from when I played it, I will evaluate whether or not it is worth the download. First off, I found this game while scrolling through the visual novel section on Steam (obviously seeing if they were free) and the thumbnail is what caught my eye. It looked like it had a nice art style, but what really wavered my click was the tags. Everyone has a personal preference to genres but apparently I went with it because I downloaded the game and played through 2 of the endings (which I will not disclose due to spoilers). Instead I will be placing my thoughts through playing.
Today I worked in the Unity Game Engine.
Good evening/morning to everyone! As the title says, I will be reviewing a game from the When They Cry series; Higurashi When They Cry Hou: Ch.1 Onikakushi. However, I will only be playing this one game because it was free on Steam (OP is broke). Now let's jump into the review.
I will not be sharing pictures from the game just to avoid spoiling, and because of the game's rating. The closest you're gonna get to gameplay pics is the one's I took from the beginning. Hi everyone! I'm back with another drawing tutorial. I haven't done one of these in a while since I had content to work with but now I don't. This is also going to be really short due to the lack of time and data I have.
What is osu! ?osu! (pronounce o-sh) is a rhythm game. As in the name, rhythm games have you focus on the beat. In osu!, there are four types of game modes:
I normally play osu!standard with a mouse. Other players can use (and are) the keyboard along with the mouse, getting a keyboard made for osu!, or even use tablets. But like some players out there (*cough*me), they only just play with a mouse.
I'm gonna start off with my usual hello! Hello! How's everyone been? Has online school (if you are in) been good for y'all? If so, good for you! If not, do not fear! I have been also tanking online classes. (why'd I call myself out like that..) Anyways! Introduction over! Let's talk about exactly what the title says. If you've seen my art section (as of today's date, 11/20/20), or just simply be around me personally (if I allow you too) when I make character designs, I normally make 2-5 simplistic outfit designs. I start with a simplistic design to get a feel of what I want the outfit to look like. Then as I develop the character, I like to narrow it down to what fits the character best. So then I develop the outfit some more (adding details and stuff to it and finding the color scheme, stuff like that) until I have my final product. Unfortunately, I left my other sketchbook of character designs at home, and I am two states away from there, so I can't put in any drawings. If you ask me, "hey, why don't you put in that goddess sketch you had on your art page?", I won't put that because I'm still developing the character behind the scenes. I know this article was short so no "read more button" (I know that's upsetting for some of y'all) but I still will insert a TL:DR for my lazy people out there.
~TL:DR~
School's back, I'm still a mess, and I miss my homie. Enough about me, you'll be getting a personal blog about me over the summer if I decide to do it. As a digital arts student, I will be giving out some tips on how to use a drawing tablet. Of course, we might have different drawing tablets. Some of might not even have drawing tablets. But I think this serves as a "consensus" (I think I used that word wrong) between the people who have graphics tablets.
BE MINDFUL THAT THERE'S NOW A READ MORE BUTTON. LOOK IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF THE ARTICLE FOR IT. |
I am now using a "Read More" button for the sake of saving your fingers when scrolling.
