The thing I'm most excited for the school year is to continue working in 3D animation. The very end of last year has inspired me to keep working and animating in 3D programs. I ranted a couple of times last year about how I hated working in 3D programs due to my middle school years. But now, my hope in back in working in 3D programs. I hope to improve on my 3D modeling skills over the new school year.
As the summer passed, I have improved on my artwork. I have somewhat improved on detail. It was a longer process of drawing due to the detail being added. I, myself, still consider this to be bad, so I will be changing my style over the school year (perhaps). And with me working in Photoshop, well..... my skills have slightly (very slightly) improved. I can't do big things like putting something huge over a landscape (ex. corgi looking over a bunch of mountains), but I can still do things like recolor a couple of things or remove something from a picture (has to be small or it may look like a complete mess). To summarize this post:
- My art may have improved - My skills are still bad to this day Over the summer, I decided that I'll focus on 2D art and improve my skills in digital art. Along with the program I used for my art during the school year, I'll be improving my skills in Photoshop. What I hope to aim for is to make my artwork more realistic than cartoonish. Or that I hope to find a style in between the two and stick with it. But the summer is all for trying new forms of digital art, so I'll be practicing realism over the summer. To summarize this post:
- I will be improving on my digital art - I will be practicing different styles of digital art |
